I have worked  on a variety of projects throughout my career, implementing effective strategies to obtain desired results and carefully guide organizations through change.
FACILITY PLANNING & MANAGEMENT

Coordinated pre-bond architectural services: validation of initial OSFC assessment, and facilitation of advisory committee, coordinating communications, meeting with community regarding vision and action steps
Involved with district oversight of $36.5 million renovation and addition of high school
Participated in planning and oversight of $4.8 million auditorium renovation: design planning, stakeholder meetings, awarding contracts, and construction oversight
Participated in administration of $4.4 million athletic facility upgrades: community review, choosing an architect, design planning, Planning and Zoning and City Council review
Served in interim capacity for business manager: communication with EPA, purchasing, scheduling, logistics, and human resources
SCHOOL REFORM & LEADERSHIP

Implemented reconfiguration of buildings and grade-levels, realizing savings of $2.1 million annually (initial ideation, logistical reviews, community presentations, staff guidance)
Facilitate exploration of assessment practices, focusing action on purpose of grading and assignments; coordinating study group to implement standards-based grading
Coordinated efforts with 13 high schools to create new athletic conference
Implemented credit recovery programming in three districts, including consensus building with the teachers’ union, recruitment of staff, and establishing culture
CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION

Coordinate efforts to align current system with research practices to close gaps for subgroups, increasing rank to top 8% in state
Collaborate with staff to increase AP offerings from 16 to 25 in three years; increase enrollment in AP courses by 86%, increasing rank from 20th to 3rd over four years
Achieved passage rate of over 95% on all sections of the OGT with a PI score of 110.9 (highest in school history), earning All-A Award from ODE (2015)
Initiated professional learning communities; monitored and guided still-forming PLCs; renewed purpose and focus of PLCs
SCHOOL FINANCE

Collaborate with union leadership to implement systems to address loss of revenue to community schools and out-of-district placements
Participate in negotiations for both certificated and classified staff in three districts
Manage multiple budgets overseeing programming and operations
Authored grants from multiple agencies and corporations
Testified before state legislature
